Why does a rose have leaves falling and what to do
Recently I have been growing roses. But lately I have been observing that the leaves began to actively crumble from the plants. Why is this happening? (Konstantin)
Rose is a beautiful flower that will decorate both the apartment and the garden. But with fallen leaves, she is no longer so beautiful.
The reasons why a flower sheds leaves may be as follows:
- physiological aging. Each flower has its own lifespan. Therefore, upon reaching the final stage of its development, the process of throwing off the obsolete leaf plates and buds begins;
- seasonality. At the end of the vegetative period after flowering, such a picture is observed quite often. This occurs with the aim of renewing the plant organism and its transition to the dormant stage. Subsidence usually occurs in the fall;
- improper care. The yellowing of the leaves and their further abscission may signal that the flower is being watered or fed incorrectly. Also, an excess of sunny color or a draft can fall on it;
- improperly selected soil. A rose in an inappropriate soil begins to wither and wither;
- parasite attack. Insect pests with abundant settlement can destroy a beauty in a matter of days. Their presence is evidenced by the cobweb, through holes in the leaves / buds, etc.;
- damage to the flower by pathogenic microflora. In this case, additional symptoms will indicate infection: the appearance of spots, a putrid odor, etc.
As you can see, at first glance it is quite difficult to understand why the leaves of a rose fall.
The situation can be corrected only by finding out the cause and eliminating it. In some cases, additional pet treatment may be required. If this is not done, then the garden beauty may simply die.
