Special magic of black plants
Many centuries ago, a black flower symbolized fertility, spiritual harmony, the desire for self-knowledge. Our ancestors considered it a symbol of winter, which will certainly be replaced by a blooming spring. A little later, dark plants began to be associated with mourning, loss and sadness. They were also associated with sorcerers, magical mysteries, or even the other world. However, times and attitudes change, because black flowers have acquired a different meaning. Now they symbolize the beginning of a new path, getting rid of old habits, spiritual and physical rebirth.
Landscape designers advise planting crops of dark colors in a dotted manner, making small accents in a group planting. Since their color is actually not black, the shade will play best in partial shade. In a strongly lit area, basic shades will take over, and under the shade of other plants, such flowers simply will not grow.
Elegant, austere cultivars go well with almost all horticultural crops. They look most advantageous with a light palette (white, pink, yellow shades). They contrast harmoniously with the silvery color. Perfectly complemented by bright, rich colors (burgundy, carmine, orange).
