Characteristics of white rose groups
Our ancestors also considered this flower a symbol of innocence and sincere, pure love. For the first time, the ancient Egyptians spoke about him. Egyptian scribes included a description of the rose in writing, and also depicted it on scrolls or on the walls of the tombs of the pharaohs.
A plant from the genus Rosehip has different parameters, which depend on the variety. So, the height is 0.3-5 m, the diameter of the bud is 5-15 cm, and the number of petals ranges from 5-130. The shape is also different. It can be narrow pyramidal or spreading. Contrary to popular belief, not all varieties have a pronounced smell. Some of them have a subtle aroma, while others do not smell at all.
Breeding has made great strides in several hundred years. In order not to get confused in the variegated variety, four groups of varietal roses were officially identified:
- Hybrid tea. This includes remontant and tea varieties. They are characterized by shoots 0.5-1.5 m long, as well as large buds about 15 cm in size, which form small inflorescences. Representatives of this group are immune to diseases, but they do not tolerate sub-zero temperatures poorly.
- Climbing. They are decorative pink shrubs with long branches and lush buds. They hardly suffer from infections, and are also resistant to cold snaps. In landscape design, such hybrids are often used to decorate fences or create arches.
- Groundcover. Here are collected cultivars obtained by hybridization of dwarf roses with climbing roses. Bushes with long branches, creeping type. Inflorescences are small, but abundant flowering, lasts up to 4 months. The varieties tolerate frosts calmly, and also practically do not get sick.
- Floribunda. A decorative group that includes the qualities of tea and polyanthus roses. The flowers are characterized by shoots from 0.4 to 1.5 m long, lush, double buds, bouquet-like inflorescences. Cultivars are resistant to low temperatures as well as most infections.
