What to build with your own hands

The finished designs are striking in their uniqueness. Barbecues in the form of steam locomotives, trucks, sailboats, airplanes, ships, drum sets, animals and even cartoon characters are very popular among summer residents.
Variants
Consider several options for making metal barbecues from scrap materials.
A homemade roaster for cooking meat over an open fire can be made from an old computer case. The system unit is disassembled into parts, completely removing all the "stuffing". The metal body is washed and treated with degreasing agents. Then cut off one side panel and coat the frame with metal paint.
A faulty supermarket trolley can be repaired and used as a barbecue or grill in the country. The bottom and side walls of the shopping cart are sealed with metal sheets, and the bottom shelf is used for storing firewood and coal.
To make a brazier in the form of a train, you have to work a little. In an old gas cylinder, part of the wall is removed, the body is treated with acetone and covered with coloring agents. The driver's cab, chimney and wheel mounts are welded from metal pipes of various diameters. The wheels themselves can be made from metal hoops from barrels or car rims.
How to do it yourself

At the preparatory stage, it is recommended to prepare all the materials and tools necessary for work, as well as think over the design details and draw up a drawing.
The body of a failed washing machine must be carefully disassembled into components. The drum is removed from the protective tank, cutting off all excess plastic and rubber seals, and washed under running water with the addition of soap. If you cannot manually remove the limescale marks, you can grind the surface with a sander with a brush attachment.
Four legs from a metal corner are welded to the bottom of the drum. Then the entire structure is degreased with acetone, solvent or white spirit. When the solvent dries, the drum from the washing machine is coated with silicone enamel or acrylic paint for metal. Brazier from an old drum from a washing machine is ready for use!
Most homemade metal braziers are light in weight and mobile. In case of worsening weather conditions, such a structure can be quickly moved under a canopy or into a gazebo.
