Classical
The recipe has been popular for many years due to the minimum ingredients and ease of preparation.
Components: viburnum and vodka in equal amounts (1 liter per 1 liter), 400 ml of water, 300 g of sugar.
Cooking method:
- Peel, wash and dry the berries, pour into a container and pour vodka so that it covers the berry layer by a few centimeters.
- Prepare syrup: combine water and sugar, cook until boiling. Add some citric acid and cinnamon if desired.
- Pour the syrup into a container with a viburnum blank and mix everything. Insist for at least a month.
- After insisting, strain through cheesecloth and pour into separate bottles. Leave it on for a few more days and then use it.
On alcohol
Unlike the classic recipe, no sugar is needed. For cooking, you only need berries, alcohol and water in equal amounts. In this case, the berries should be ½ the volume of alcohol or water.
Preparing the tincture is extremely simple: prepare the berries and pour them into a deep container, pour alcohol and water and leave for a month. Strain the resulting drink and bottle.
On moonshine with pine nuts

- Preparation of mint tincture: 200 g of peppermint pour 2 liters of water and leave for 6 weeks.
- Mash the viburnum berries (2.5 kg) so that the juice stands out.
- Choose a capacity so that the viburnum occupies ⅔ of the total volume.
- Dilute the mint syrup by half with water and pour into the viburnum.
- Separate the berries from the tincture and pour over 2 liters of flower honey. Insist 2 weeks.
- Strain the tincture and pour into containers.
- Insist for another 3 months.
With honey and thyme

Ingredients: 400 g of viburnum, 100 g of dried thyme, 500 ml of alcohol, 1 liter of flower honey and 1 liter of spring water.

- After a day, add black pepper and leave for another day in a dark place.
- Strain through cheesecloth.
With quince
The drink is perfect as a vitamin-enriched composition.
Ingredients: 0.5 kg of quince, 2-4 sprigs of viburnum, lemon, 200 g of honey or sugar, 0.8 liters of vodka.
Preparation:
- Peel and cut the quince, grate or cut into small cubes.
- Crush the berries until juice is released and pour over with vodka.
- Cover with a lid (but not plastic) and leave in a bright place for two weeks.
- Add sugar or honey, stir and leave for another week. Shake the mixture daily.
