Reliable hybrid tomato for Pink Paradise greenhouses

Now you will not surprise anyone with a variety of varieties of vegetable crops. And tomatoes in particular, of which breeders have already bred more than a hundred. In our country, tomatoes are grown not only of Soviet selection, but also of American or European origin, and this article will be devoted to the Pink Paradise tomato f1, the laurels of which were developed by scientists from Japan. Previously, the seeds of Pink Paradise tomatoes were difficult to get, but now they are on the free sale, so it will not be superfluous to familiarize yourself with the description of this tomato variety, with its disadvantages and advantages, and nuances when growing.

Description

Pink Paradise tomato belongs to indeterminate varieties of tomatoes, therefore it is more suitable for growing in a greenhouse (observe the conditions in the greenhouse, as for most tomatoes). Most gardeners prefer film shelters for growing this type of shelter than glass greenhouses; in the open field, growing this tomato variety is even less common, but this is also an option (in this case, you just have to try harder to provide the plants with comfortable conditions). Mid-early ripening tomato: Pink Paradise tomato seeds are sown in March and can be harvested 65-75 days after transplanting. Like all indeterminate varieties, it grows up to 2 m in height, the bushes are well leafy, vigorous.

Pink Paradise fruit

The fruits of the tomato deserve special attention. They are relatively large - their average weight is about 200 g (they can be either larger or smaller, depending on the closeness of plant care), rounded or rounded-flat. Tomatoes are pink in color, do not have a characteristic (for many types of tomato) green speck at the stalk, have excellent taste. The pulp is firm and juicy. Most often it is consumed fresh, suitable for processing into tomato products.

Advantages and disadvantages

Tomato Pink Paradise deserves only the best reviews (by the way, most of the reviews are very positive), because it has a lot of positive qualities (this applies not only to fruits, but also to plants in general). The first thing that most consumers are interested in is yield. With this parameter, everything is fine with him, he belongs to high-yielding varieties. The second is the difficulty in growing. The variety does not require any specific agricultural techniques. Since it is determinant, a garter is required, it easily forms into one stem. It has immunity to many diseases: it is almost completely resistant to brown spot and nematodes, rarely lends itself to verticillous and fusarium wilt, and is practically not affected by fungal viruses. So you shouldn't have any problems with growing, but it is still recommended to process the seed before planting.

Unripe tomatoes on the bushes

The fruits have other advantages, in addition to excellent taste characteristics (by the way, in 2011, at one of the seminars, Pink Paradise was recognized as one of the best pink varieties). Tomatoes are universal and do not crack. They are well transported (there is no need to be afraid that at the end of the trip a liquid mass will remain after them) and retain an attractive appearance for a long time, in particular a glossy shine (they can lie for about 3 weeks without losing their positive qualities).

This variety has practically no drawbacks, except for the fact that it is a hybrid (as indicated by the f1 designation), that is, you cannot get the seeds of the Pink Paradise tomato on your own, you just have to buy it.
