How to grow seedlings

The reason is that cabbage requires light, coolness and a sufficiently high air humidity. The best option is to sow cabbage in a greenhouse, where conditions are favorable. Considering that 2021 turned out to be quite cold and the soil is moving away from frost longer than usual, wrap the box with seedlings with ordinary film.

First, let's prepare the ground for the box. A universal recipe: prepare a mixture of peat (1 bucket), sand (half a bucket), ash (1 liter jar). Ash is an important ingredient for good, fertile soil. It is an antiseptic and does not allow diseases such as black leg to develop. Mix the mixture thoroughly, put it in a box and pour abundantly with water. Next, we proceed to sowing seeds. The cause of the disease mechanism is the fact that the seedlings become cramped, it stretches and the lower part of the stalk dries up. Planting and growing algorithm

Before replanting plants in the garden, you need to prepare it. We irrigate the soil with a 3% solution of copper sulfate (1 tablespoon per 1 liter of water). This procedure takes place about one week before planting. The next step will be soil deoxidation already during planting. In each groove with a plant, we add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of calcium nitrate. Then we transplant the plant with soil into a hole previously filled with water.

When making a hole, remember that it must be deep enough. It will be necessary to fill in the cotyledon leaves completely, the real leaves in half and after 2 days remove the soil from them. With this scheme of action, all of its leaves will remain with the seedlings. And by this time there should be 4-5. But in the event that there are more sheets, it will be right to get rid of the extra ones, since they still do not play the main role. New leaves will serve as a sign that the seedlings have taken root.
