Preparation of ingredients

Mint jam is tasty and aromatic

Initially, the mint needs to be washed well and sorted out, removing damaged and wilted leaves. If a variety is used that has glossy leaves, the dust is shaken off very quickly. If the leaves are fleecy, it is recommended to sort through each one, rinsing it under running water.

Since olden times, flowers and herbs have been harvested for the winter. Mint has long been known for its medicinal properties, in particular, it relieves headaches, removes traces of fatigue and has a positive effect on the immune system. Eating can be harmful to those who are allergic to this aromatic herb.
