Use the machine with extreme caution in sloping areas. It is forbidden to work in rain, thunderstorm or heavy dew. All of these rules apply to both gasoline and electric machines. When refueling gasoline units, it is recommended to adhere to the following additional rules:

• do not smoke while refueling;
• pour fuel only into a cooled tank;
• refuel the mower just before work and outdoors;
• keep clean, removing all traces of oil and fuel, the engine itself, the exhaust port, the fuel tank.

The most dangerous element of an electric lawnmower is the battery. Before each use, make sure that it is not damaged.

Lawn mower maintenance

Before the first use, the gasoline engine must be filled with engine oil, or the electric battery must be charged, observing the time indicated in the instructions. For maintenance or replacement of parts, the mower is taken to a specialized workshop. In case of strong vibration of the apparatus, stop it and turn off the engine. After turning off the electric lawnmower and waiting for the machine to cool down, remove the battery. It must be stored in a dry and well-ventilated area.

After the gasoline engine has cooled down, it is recommended to remove the spark plug cap. Changing the height of the knives and wheels, the speed of rotation of the knives, cleaning or attaching the grass catcher should only be carried out in accordance with the instructions and after switching off the engine.After the end of mowing, the mechanism must cool down in the open air, without access to it by children and animals.
