For testing and station propagation, apricot shalakh was sent to the south of the USSR only towards the end of the thirties. Since then, in the warm parts of the country, ripe and juicy fruits of Yerevan are served to the table in summer.

Since individuals of apricot shalah produce fruits of both early and medium ripening, the flowering period is different for them. Botanical experts note that during the middle ripeness the flowering of the tree is quite abundant and dense. The climate in which a particular tree grows directly affects the flowering time. In the warmest regions it is the end of June, in colder regions it is the beginning, or even the middle of July. If we take the Moscow region, then this cool zone will allow the tree to bloom quite late. The flowers themselves are quite large - up to 2.8 centimeters. The petals are curved and rounded, almost white.

As for the external characteristics, it is worth noting their large size - up to 90 grams per unit. The visual features of the apricot are not inferior to the taste: the skin of the fruit is of a pleasant creamy shade, with a raspberry tint on the sides. And under the matte shell there is fragrant pulp, the balance of sweetness and acidity of which is perfectly observed. The pit in the shalah is relatively small, which makes it easier to remove.
